“An Evening with The Travelling Band”, will feature the band in two parts - a stripped down acoustic set to kick things off, and then after the interval, a full electric set, previewing new material from the band’s forthcoming second album, which they are currently recording.

Hope everyone is well and settling into the summer vibes.. We’re just about to set off for Glastonbury very shortly and getting excited about it. We’re doing two gigs down there.. first one on the Friday at 7pm in the Croissant Neuf Big Top in the Green Fields.. not far the from the Stone Circle. The other one is at 1.15pm on Saturday on the BBC Introducing stage. That’s in the Park Field.. Come and say hello if you’re at the festival, and pray for sun! I’ve bought some hardcore high seas sailing gear today just in case…
The other news is that a release date has been set for the release of The Stone Roses Waterfall.. There’ll be a couple versions out as a digital bundle on 10th August with a brand new track as well. Available from all good digital stockists as well as from our very own website!

Two weeks ago we returned from a week long trip to the newly formed Republic of Kosovo. We had an incredible experience out there performing several times at dedication events to mark the ten year anniversary of the massacre of innocent families in the town of Podujeva. We also played public concerts including one in the capital Prishtina as well as an orphanage in the city.
A documentary “Manchester to Kosova: 10 years on” featuring The Travelling Band will broadcast tomorrow night (Thursday 16th April) at 8pm on Channel M - Sky channel 203, Virgin Media 878 and Free-to-air analogue 39.
Tune in or catch a repeat showings at the following times; 9am Friday, 7pm Saturday, 12pm Sunday, 2.30pm Tuesday, 4pm Wednesday.
